The Old Rectory is a quiet and peaceful house in beautiful rural countryside. See the rooms we offer below.
All our rooms have: Egyptian cotton sheets and large fluffy towels, Luxury toiletries, Tea and coffee, Hairdryer, Hot water bottles for the colder months, Free Wifi
But each has it’s own character:
- THE ROSE ROOM -
The Rose Room is the largest and quietest room, where the morning sun streams in and the busy bees can be watched. The room provides twin beds or 6’ double bed with en-suite bathroom.
- RHUM'S ROOM -
Rhum's room is a warm South facing double room with views overlooking the garden and a large private shower room immediately next door
- TALISKER'S ROOM/SUITE -
From Tali’s room, one feels one is looking down on the world with it’s a panoramic view over the lawn and across the valley. This room can also be taken with a second bedroom on the top floor making accommodation for 4 people sharing the shower room – ideal for two couples or a family
- HOME PRODUCE -
We grow or glean as much of our food as possible, whether it is the egg for breakfast or the venison steak at dinner.
Paddy loves the livestock, rearing lambs, piglets and chicks in the spring and summer while his vegetable garden and greenhouse provide fresh ingredients with which Maggie cooks only hours after being gathered. Please discuss the evening’s menu options with Maggie.
